MG Owners' Club will be at The Le Mans Classic 9th - 11th July 2010

The event:

This event is only run every other year. The next Le Mans Classic is in 2010.

The Le Mans Classic event has always been popular with car clubs and the MG Owners’ Club is no exception, with over 100 MG’s attending the last event in 2008. The 5th running of the Le Mans Classic will see the familiar running of 24 hours of classic car racing featuring 6 grids of cars that have raced at Le Mans between the years of 1923 & 1979.

As always the MGOC Travel Club will be offering a variety of packages to suit your requirements. Similar to 2008 we will be offering a private campsite on circuit at Hunaudieres as well as an opportunity to camp off-circuit in the grounds of a French Chateau about 30 minutes drive from the circuit. If camping is not your preference we can also offer a limited number of B&Bs and hotel rooms on an individual basis.

Chateau Camping:

  • Your choice of channel crossings
  • A reserved camping pitch in the chateau grounds
  • Serviced showers and toilets
  • Breakfast served each morning
  • Friday evening BBQ
  • Circuit entrance tickets
  • Paddock access tickets
  • Grandstand seats
  • On circuit car parking permit
  • Optional extras such as tent hire, and other meals can be added on request

It is a condition of these offers that all travellers hold adequate travel insurance in case of repatriation due to illness or accident.
We also recommend that you take out European Motoring Assistance cover whilst driving abroad.
A full ten-year passport is required for these holidays. Non-EU nationals may require a visa for France. Please call us if you are in any doubt.
